As a Assistant Product Management Systems you will be based in Venlo and work together with the Systems team to answer customer inquiries received per telephone or e-mail. After evaluating customer needs, you provide solutions that are both technically and commercially competitive and together with the Product Manager you convert these into orders. Your external contacts are suppliers, sub-contractors, project engineers, agents and account managers at the various Sales and Service offices. They perceive you to be a team player who provides sound technical advice and guarantees swift service. Internally you will work closely with the various Product Managers, Projects & Engineering and the Service department. You will report to the Senior Product Manager Systems.
You have a technical background (mechanical, process, cooling) at bachelor or engineer level (Dutch HBO or compatible) with a couple of years of commercial experience in B2B
environment. You are fluent in English and have an active knowledge of the German language. Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an asset. You have excellent command of all Microsoft Office programs and experience with configurators and ERP systems. You are analytical, accurate and able to work independently. As a team player you adapt quickly to the changing demands, and with your proactive hands-on mentality you see opportunities to get things done on time. Others relate to you as positive, driven, customer oriented and enthusiastic.
